This morning we woke to our ship anchored at Breisach, then boarded a tour bus and drove through the countryside to visit the medieval village of Colmar, site of a WW II battle where Audie Murphy helped the allies prevail against Nazi Germany.
This is our final day and night on the Viking EIR. Tonight we motor down the river to Basel, Switzerland where we’ll disembark and travel by train to our hotel in Lucerne.
