After a decadent breakfast in our suite, we boarded a bus for a walking tour of Koblenz. Our tour guide was a local historian with a unique sense of humor. By the end of our excursion, I not only learned about the old churches and history of the community, I also gained insights into some of my husband’s Germanic personality traits which emerge during driving on highways.
Back at the ship, we enjoyed a sunny lunch on the deck while watching passing scenery.
During the evening, we caught a little shuttle into Rudesheim where we enjoyed dinner and music with some of our shipmates.
